David is a recipient of Glimmer Train‘s Short Story Award for New Writers, and is a first-prize winner of the Zoetrope: All-Story Short Fiction Contest. His work has appeared in those publications, and in AGNI and Alaska Quarterly Review. David lives in San Francisco, where he is working on a novel.
